AdaptTable for Naive UI
Row reordering in Naive UI
Compose rowReorder from @adapttable/naive-ui/row-reorder and a grip appears on every row. Drag it, or press Space to lift a row, the arrows to move it and Space to drop it; a live region announces each step.
The table never mutates your array: onRowReorder asks the host with the row's old and new positions and the row itself, and the host writes. This page applies each move with core's applyRowReorder and says what it did.
The code
<script setup lang="ts">
import { applyRowReorder } from "@adapttable/core";
import { shallowRef } from "vue";
import type { ColumnDef } from "@adapttable/vue";
import { DataTable } from "@adapttable/naive-ui";
import { rowReorder } from "@adapttable/naive-ui/row-reorder";
const props = defineProps<{ rows: readonly Person[] }>();
const columns: ColumnDef<Person>[] = [
{ key: "name", sortable: true },
{ key: "team" },
{ key: "budget", sortable: true },
];
const rowKey = (row: Person) => row.id;
const order = shallowRef<readonly Person[] | null>(null);
const features = [
rowReorder<Person>((from, to) => {
order.value = applyRowReorder(order.value ?? props.rows, from, to);
}),
];
</script>
<template>
<DataTable
:data="order ?? rows"
:columns="columns"
:row-key="rowKey"
:features="features"
/>
</template>

More Naive UI features
- Filtering in Naive UI — Ranges, selects, an AND/OR tree and chips — all in the URL.
- Column management in Naive UI — Show, hide, reorder, pin and resize — from a menu you did not write.
- Column groups in Naive UI — Spanning headers that collapse to a stub, a kept child, or a custom cell.
- Row selection in Naive UI — A set of ids that survives paging, with bulk actions over it.
- Rows in Naive UI — Pin rows from a 3-dot menu, and merge a team that runs down the page.
- Inline cell editing in Naive UI — Native editors in the cell; every write goes through your handler.
- Row grouping in Naive UI — Drag, select or keyboard grouping, with totals in the headers.
- Aggregation in Naive UI — Footer totals, pinned summaries, group aggregates — not data rows.
- Nested tables in Naive UI — A real table under a row — same engine, own columns, own keys.
- CSV export in Naive UI — One toolbar button, a CSV of the table as it stands.
- Row and column virtualization in Naive UI — 40,000 rows in a scroll box, only the visible ones rendered.
- Tree data in Naive UI — Nesting, chevrons, lazy children, and a tree on phones.
- Mobile cards in Naive UI — Every row becomes a card on phones. Automatically, with the same state.
- Pivot tables in Naive UI — Rows down the side, dimensions across the top, subtotals at every level.
- Saved views in Naive UI — Name an arrangement and restore it from the menu.
- Spreadsheet formulas in Naive UI — ROUND, POWER, SQRT, IF — computed columns, errors in the cell.
- Right-to-left Naive UI data table — Arabic strings, a flipped axis, and a popover that opens from the right edge.
- Live updates in Naive UI — Rows change while you read them. Sort and selection hold.
- Accessible Naive UI data table — Arrow-key focus, a visible ring, forced-colors, and live announcements.
- AI table assistant in Naive UI Vue — Local sort, questions and approved edits with real table outcomes.
